Fall Break: Ohio Edition

Fall Break: Ohio Edition

The first part of the semester is over, and now we embark into the second half. With midterms, quizzes and classes all passing it really is refreshing to have a long weekend.

Long Weekend

I didn’t do much for my long weekend except go to Ohio, it was fun. I loved the drive and it was fun, but in typical family fashion we left in the morning and got to our destination about 12 hours later. Our drive was only 8 hours so…we obviously stopped at places. It was fun, even if I spent only a day in Columbus.

I did get to show my dad Skyline Chili and that place is wild, not bad but also not great by any stands. I do wish I had more pasta with chili (I don’t remember the actual name of it).

We also came during the time when it was Ohio State vs Iowa so we saw an inflatable Brutus in our hotel. I got spooked seeing this man and now I let it stare into my soul.

New Goals for the Second Half

Now since the days before winter break are dwindling I want to have new goals. The biggest is to lock in, as I write this I still struggle with juggling my classwork and while I get it done I want to do better but I fear it will not be done until after Wonderland finishes up. But, we’ll see.
