Fall and the Plants We Receive

Fall and the Plants We Receive

I love fall personally, as it means the weather isn’t boiling hot and you can wear nice things to hide your markings. Plus while I am a fan of cool colors (the best colors), warm colors in nature are so nice.

Yet, this isn’t about leaves falling and getting colorful piles of leaves. No, this is the time of year to watch with excitement and wonder of the fall season. With some events around campus we have gotten new plants. A new air plant named Bob, from the help of E2K (Entertainment 2 Knight) and then some personal help from my mother. There will be a new aloe plant on the way (a baby aloe), and the name of them will be based off of the DEMA bishops from twenty one pilots.

Currently in my dorm there goes the seasonal decor of gourds. Gourds are a fan favorite decoration of mine because they really add a nice little something to a room or to even a porch. While you might not be able to carve them, you can still draw on them. When I was younger I would take those tiny little pumpkins and draw on them. Freshman year, I drew a black cat and the other was a fake carving on it.

What feels necessary to touch on is, pumpkin spice. I like a low level but not the pumpkin spice pumpkin. Idk I love the Culver’s pumpkin shake flavor.
